The Building Contractor
The Building Contractor is the mortar in your building project. Neason have close links with tradesmen and 3rd party contractors. This is key to plugging in the right skills at the right time. We manage every trade, supplier, health and safety (including signage), finance, contracts and then some! You employ us so that you can relax and watch it all happen.
During the construction of any project, the coordination of the trades is an integral part of the process. There is a big difference between a General Builder and a Building Contractor. The General Builder will attempt to build your entire project without necessarily being qualified for each part of the job. The Building Contractor uses experienced, bona-fide, tradesmen for each section. Therefore, there are clearly defined phases to the project and a higher quality finish throughout.
We will work with all project team members to define the logistical requirements for the construction process, such as areas for deliveries, placement of security and safety fencing (if required) and hours of operation.

Getting your planning consent granted first time around is critical to the timing and costs of your project. Neason’s architectural partners will be experienced in your area. They will understand your local planning office and sensitive points that could jeopardise your application. Employing Neason to manage your application will increase your chances of success.
Neason understand the importance and significance of your building project. Aside from purchasing your house this could be the most significant investment you will make. Uncertainty with regards to the cost of your project can be daunting. This is why Neason will break down your project into phases. The project plan will show each phase, the cost and the work so you will see exactly where your funds are going.
We provide a lot of detail with our project plans, which helps to avoid unexpected costs. The project phases ensure that your payments are spread evenly throughout the project. The amounts will not come as a surprise.
All Neason projects will be subject to building control, that is the local planning authority. They will have the final say when it comes to the regulations and quality. The planning inspector will visit the project as critical components are started/completed.
At the end of your project Neason will provide all safety certificates, such as that required for electricity installations and the building control inspector will issue the completion certificate.
A professionally managed project will result in better value for your money. The Building Contractor will normally be managing multiple contracts at one time, therefore requiring a lower profit per job than a builder running one job at a time.

It is always tempting to carry out tasks that you feel confident in carrying out yourself but don’t under estimate the quality that every trade can offer.
