home extension extend kitchen into garden

Home Extension

You need no convincing that a home extension will enhance your property, however you intend to use it.  This is the most popular service right now, partly due to the cost of moving but also because of the value that a home extension adds to your property.

Improve the space you love

The process of moving house can be quite stressful, not forgetting to mention ‘expensive’.   Most of us already have quite an attachment to our current home.  The solution then, is to extend your property.  Ponder what it is that you desire as an addition to your home. Then share it with us so that it can be developed and turned into reality.

Where, What, How???

We can provide a lot of advice about what would work best, where it should be positioned to enhance your view.  Neason can show you how to achieve it.  A very popular development is to extend your kitchen/diner into the garden space, allowing you to spend your time in two spaces that you love, at the same time.

Additional Construction Steps

We will work with all project team members to define the logistical requirements for the construction process, considering all site access limitations.  For example, areas for deliveries, placement of barricades (if required) and hours of operation.  The last thing you want is to upset your neighbours or delay the project because parking was not pre-arranged or a delivery truck could not offload.

Shop Drawings and Submittals

Neason will work with you from concept to completion if required; therefore providing drawings for outline planning permission.  However, you may already have everything planned out with drawings and planning permission in place; in which case we work with what you have, offering our advice along the way.

Cost Reporting

If you agree to work with us your quotation will be broken down so that you can see exactly where all your funds are being spent.  During the project your project manager will be able to demonstrate that we are on track and that costs are being managed correctly.

Final Inspections and Sign off

The project only ends when building control have signed off the work, quality control have checked the final finish and operation and, most importantly, that you the customer are entirely satisfied with your new development.

Up or Down

With the cost of land what it is today it is popular to go up into the loft and down into the basement.  Both have their design challenges with equally rewarding results.  You may expect a basement to be cold, damp and dark: not so! Creative thinkers, combined with modern building techniques, will create well lit spaces.  Not to mention that they will be warm and dry.

Commissioning and Project Closeout

One of the most critical stages of the construction process is the commissioning and closeout of the project.

The installation team carry out commissioning, followed by their final checks.   Building control will then sign-off the work.  With much pomp and ceremony the handover can take place!
